GAISS is committed to a harassment-free, inclusive conference environment for all participants.
Report concerns to organizers immediately so we can respond quickly and protect affected attendees.
EXPECT
Respectful participation
- Use inclusive language and assume good intent.
- Disagree constructively and avoid intimidation.
- Help create a welcoming environment for all backgrounds.
PROHIBIT
Harmful behavior
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or exclusionary conduct.
- Any content or actions that create an unsafe environment.
ENFORCEMENT
Action when needed
- GAISS organizers will review reports promptly.
- Consequences may include expulsion from events.
- We will take steps to protect affected attendees.
How to report
If you experience or witness concerning behavior, report it by email to generalchair@gaiss.info. Please include the session/event context, time, location, and any relevant details. Reports are handled by the GAISS organizing team.
We respond as quickly as possible during the conference.
